'The Man from Nowhere' Star Won Bin Pays Tribute to Late Actress Kim Sae-ron
The tragic passing of actress Kim Sae-ron has left the entertainment world in shock, with her colleagues, including Won Bin and Han So-hee, paying their respects at her funeral.
On the 17th, stars continued to visit the funeral of Kim Sae-ron at the Seoul Asan Hospital, with Won Bin being one of the first to arrive. The two shared a memorable connection through their roles in the film The Man from Nowhere (2010), where Won Bin played Taesik, a former special agent, and Kim Sae-ron portrayed Somi, a young girl who was kidnapped by a criminal organization. Their collaboration in the movie marked a pivotal moment in Kim Sae-ron's career, leading to her becoming one of the most promising young actresses in the industry.
Following the film's success, Kim Sae-ron garnered widespread attention, while Won Bin, who has kept a low profile in recent years, honored her by attending the funeral and offering his final farewell. His agency, Eden Nine, also sent a wreath under the name of the couple Won Bin and Lee Na-young.
Actresses Han So-hee, Kim Bo-ra, and other close colleagues of Kim Sae-ron also paid their respects, and several celebrities, including Ma Dong-seok and Gong Myung, sent floral tributes. Kim Sae-ron's passing was confirmed after she was found unresponsive at her home on the 16th. Authorities have ruled out foul play, and the funeral will take place at 6:20 AM on the 19th.
